"THINGS THAT YOU DON'T SEE"
Before I go to sleep at night, I design bear parts, (in my head) and in the morning I sketch what I THOUGHT was a good idea, sometimes not! I believe to make a quality bear, reinforced areas are a must, especially where stress is a factor. I stuff my BRUINS as firmly as I can & I sew very tightly as to ensure they won't rip out. Steel beads are used for weight. Clean polyester stuffing fills in the rest of the bear. Things that you can't see are the things that make my bear top quality on the inside and out!
As a Decorative Artist since 1987, I've learned about color theory and its application. It's been an asset to every part of my life including designing my bears with color combinations that work well together.
I use German glass eyes, hand embroidered noses, hand painted facial features, hardboard joints,
hand made/ designed felt hats & clothing plus quality fur for my cuties.
The details are the same in all of my bears/animals, giving attention to every last detail.

"THINGS THAT YOU DON'T SEE"
Before I go to sleep at night, I design bear parts, (in my head) and in the morning I sketch what I THOUGHT was a good idea, sometimes not! I believe to make a quality bear, reinforced areas are a must, especially where stress is a factor. I stuff my BRUINS as firmly as I can & I sew very tightly as to ensure they won't rip out. Steel beads are used for weight. Clean polyester stuffing fills in the rest of the bear. Things that you can't see are the things that make my bear top quality on the inside and out!
As a Decorative Artist since 1987, I've learned about color theory and its application. It's been an asset to every part of my life including designing my bears with color combinations that work well together.
I use German glass eyes, hand embroidered noses, hand painted facial features, hardboard joints,
hand made/ designed felt hats & clothing plus quality fur for my cuties.
The details are the same in all of my bears/animals, giving attention to every last detail.
